Item Description

Vintage Black & Decker Jack Hammer Star Bit (NOS)

This came from my father's plumbing business back in the 1960's and 1970's.

He owned a number of electric jack hammers and this bit was purchased for one of the Black & Decker hammers but was never used.

I don't know what model this is for and there aren't any markings on the shipping tube or on the bit itself that give any model numbers, etc.

The only marking on the bit is: B&D  1-1/4 CV and under that is USA.

The bit itself measures 18 inches long and is about 1 inch in diameter.

Any questions? Please feel free to ask before you bid!

High bidder pays an additional charge for shipping and handling. Sales tax applies to all Connecticut purchases where so noted. Insurance is optional but recommended for items with a value of $50.00 or more. I will not be held responsible for items which are not insured. All items will be shipped with a delivery confirmation but this is not insurance against any lost or damaged goods.

Thanks for looking! Good luck with your bidding!

Very Important Info! Please Read Before Placing Your Bid!

All my auctions come with shipping and handling fees unless so stated.  The actual shipping fee is based upon the size and weight of the package and your distance from me.  A handling fee is in addition to the shipping fee and is based upon a number of factors mentioned below.  Just about all my auctions are set up with calculated shipping so you know at a glance what the total cost will be for both shipping and handling.  That figure along with your bid price is the total you will pay for one auction.  If you plan on bidding on more than one item then please read further.

I will gladly combine multiple auction wins of smaller items to try and help you save on actual shipping charges when I can.  I will only combine auctions that close on the same day.  Auctions that close on another day will not be combined with a previous day and will be invoiced separately.  Handling charges will still apply per auction but you will definitely save on actual shipping fees with combined packaging.  My handling charges vary related to the sizes of the packages and the amount of packing materials, etc. needed.  My minimum handling fee per auction is $3.50.  Larger items may have handling fees of $5.00 or more but for the most part the $3.50 handling fee per auction is the norm.  So normally when you bid on more than one item you will pay a $7.00 handling fee for two items, $10.50 on three items, etc.  When I factor in the time spent creating my auctions, posting them, answering questions, packaging them up, bringing them to the post office or other carriers, posting feedback, paying eBay and PayPal fees, paying for packing materials, etc. I think my handling fees are justified and quite conservative!  I don't like working for nothing and I'm sure you don't either.  If you feel my fees are excessive no one is forcing you to bid.  In placing a bid on any of my items you are stating that you have read and understand my policies.  If you have any questions please ask them before placing your bid and not after. I am not able to offer combined shipping on large pre-packaged or fragile items. Thanks for your understanding.

This item comes with a 7-day money back guarantee if you are not happy for whatever reason. You must notify me of your intentions before returning the item as sometimes a problem can be corrected without having to return the piece. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted. Sorry but shipping and handling fees are not refundable unless I have made a gross error in the description of the item and lead you to believe you were receiving something completely different.
