We are offering the naked bulb shop lights that were in our museum before we converted it from a furniture store to a museum. There are 22 doubles and 2 singles and a stack of 8 foot bulbs to go with them. These units were nearly all working when we removed them from the ceiling. Some have been damaged but are repairable, at least one is not repairable but we believe the ballast is good. At least one has a bad ballast - you get the picture. Best estimate is that 80% of them are in working order without further ado. And yes, we do have the ballast covers. THESE ARE OFFERED AS IS, WHERE IS! In other words: NO GUARANTEES, LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY.
Please note, this is a DUTCH AUCTION. Simply put, high bidder gets how many they want, low bidder sets the price for everyone. You will indicate how many you want when you bid. If you want more than are available, simply bid higher until you override enough bidders to get your desired amount. Again, remember: THE LOWEST SUCCESSFUL BID SETS THE PRICE FOR THE WHOLE LOT, REGARDLESS OF THE HIGH BID.
*Pawnee County Historical Society is an all volunteer organization that was built on and survives only through contributions, both physical and monetary, primarily from the citizens, past citizens and their relatives of PawneeCounty who believe that historical preservation and family history is important as a reference for our future generations. However, as grateful as we are for the donations, the largess of our donors sometimes goes beyond our mandate, space and time of preserving PawneeCounty. (It's our own fault, our mantra to the community has always been: "Don't discard anything, let us throw it away.")
As historians we have found it very difficult (read: "impossible") to discard items of historical significance inapplicable to PawneeCounty when they might appeal to a different audience. We have therefore decided to offer these items, along with duplications of general artifacts, for auction as a part of our continuous fund raising effort. (And yeah, we kept the best for ourselves. Sorry.)
Payment is expected within 3 days. PayPal, Personal Checks, US Postal Money Orders, and Cashiers Checks are accepted. Items paid with personal checks or cashiers checks will not be shipped until full payment is verified. If payment or correspondence concerning payment is not received within 3 days, purchase will be considered void and buyer in default.
Items will be shipped within one week from payment, usually within 3 days. Unless there is specific reason to do otherwise, most shipping will be done on Wednesday. Insurance is optional on items up to $100, it is required on items over $100. We cannot be responsible once the item leaves our hand. We will combine shipping on items purchased within 7 days of each other. Please let us know within the 3 day contact period if you are hoping to make additional purchases. If you are successful, please wait for an invoice for combined shipping. This is the only way we can give you the best rates due to the diversity of our items.
All sales are final. Items we are offering frequently may be unique, collectible, fragile and/or irreplaceable. We do our best to describe in exact detail what you are bidding on, and within our amateur capabilities to offer accurate pictures of the exact items. If you have any questions at all, please contact us for clarification. Also, we cannot be responsible for damage occurred in shipping. We always offer an insurance option.
