Item Details Plastic Stock - Black RADEL Strips like Ultem Delrin Seller: kenw66 ( 1430  ) End Time: 2008-07-29 15:27:54 GMT Bids: 1 Current Price: $0.99 Location: Paterson, New Jersey Time Left: 0 Seconds For More Details: Click here Item Description Lot of Black RADEL (technical name = polyphenylsulfone) Plastic bar strips, approx 5.75" Long x 2.0" Wide x .50" Thick at the thickest point of the radius.  These strips were cut off of 2.5" diameter round bar stock for a job we did.  These are scrap for our machine shop, but excellent for the hobby machinist or for small machining projects.  This material is annealed medical grade - it will not distort (unless you heat it up) like regular off-the-shelf plastic stock does!  This is a very tuff plastic....an excellent replacement for aluminum and steel parts....aerospace, aircraft, food, auto, marine, medical, and electrical components, spacers, even some high tech fishing reel parts, as it is very durable and corrosion resistant.  It is fairly easy to machine, and can be machined best with very sharp carbide tool bits, drills, end mills, flycutters, etc.  Since this is drop-off, the dimensions may vary....you will receive 10 pieces per lot....check my other auctions for larger lots and different sizes, or contact me with requests, and I'll create an auction for what you need, if I have it.  All dimensions are nominal and may be slightly over or undersize.  Plastics are great for many applications including marine and auto uses, just do a search on the material to see its many applications.  Winning bidder must complete transaction within 5 days of end of auction.  Payment via CASH at pickup, Money Order, or PayPal  Shipping: lower 48 states - price will be fixed at $9.99 for up to 10 lots - via USPS priority, anywhere else will be actual amount, or can be picked up at my location in northern NJ.  special offer - buy any other material order from me at the same time, and I will ship 2 orders for one shipping price of only $9.99
