Up for your consideration is a 1946 Cleveland Tow-Motor forklift.

Before you start to laugh, read the following:

I have owned this machine for over 20 years, and it has never let me down!

It has a Continental “flat-head” four cylinder gasoline engine (that was rebuilt) with a Zenith “gravity feed” carburetor.  I converted the entire system to 12-volts and installed a heavy-duty alternator.  I have replaced practically every hose and have completely drained, flushed, and cleaned everything on this machine 2 years ago.  I used it once in awhile and found it to be a great asset.  It has a 4,000 lb capacity @ 110” lift height (two stage). It also tilts.

If you are looking for a part time machine to bail you out of trouble, this is the one.  If you are looking for a machine to run 8-hours a day, spend $35,000.00 and buy a new one.

It’s not too pretty, but it has worked very well for my limited needs.  It also comes with heavy-duty extension forks ($300.00 value) and information on parts and service.

This machine would fetch me at least $700.00 in scrap value alone.  I do not need her anymore and it would be a sin to scrap her.  She has solid tires that are in decent shape.

It has forward and reverse with low and high gears that work.

This forklift is located in Yonkers, New York, and I will not ship it.

Pick up is preferred, however, delivery COULD BE an option.

C)    You pay for this machine and delivery prior to me setting out to your location.

You will need a flatbed trailer or tow truck in order to transport this machine.  I will drive the machine onto your vehicle.  Bring chains to secure this load.
