Good news: this Jig Bore is well used but very well cared for condition. Includes most of the original #2 tooling and then some. Was designed for precision manual machining (the head can be lowered at two automatic rates) and makes for a versatile small run or prototyping machine. X,Y movement is calibrated in .0001 (tenthousands) increments.
Bad news: This machine spun while unloading with a engine hoist and bumped the trailer in two places, damaging a motor housing and the "X" handwheel.
The X, Y table I believe is undamaged and moves freely. The handwheel is easily repaired. The motor housing should not prove difficult to braze back or JB Weld as I was able to save most of the pieces.
I have lost my lease and my business plans have changed. My loss is your gain. Machine must be removed within ten days of winning bid. It is currently in my garage and the driveway is rather steep. It is advised to load on a trailer. I will be glad to offer my assistance but anyone purchasing this will likely be more qualified than myself to remove. I have a copy of the manual but have not tested this item since it was delivered. It is of course three phase. Should be able to inspect on the weekend if desired (no three phase available to the garage for testing). While any statements or responses I make are believed to be accurate, this machine is sold as-is only. No returns. Good luck and best wishes.
